Awesome write up! Could I ask, when you are researching investments do you look at option volume or outliers? I noticed very large UUUU Feb 20 $30 call volume 2 weeks ago. Or do you only go by research?
I like to watch that parameter too! Just one piece of the puzzle and I don’t put too much weight on it but it’s good info to have in the back of your mind.
Where do you found such Information like this: “do you look at option volume or outliers? I noticed very large UUUU Feb 20 $30 call volume 2 weeks ago.” ?
Great write up. Maybe this is obvious to others, but what is the value of the high-purity products from 12,600 kg of this REO?
I've put these RFIs out before (totally different field) but it really does guide the RFP in my experience. I guess until we see that RFP it'll be hard to know, but hopefully at that point it'll be more clear (but not too clear!).
Good question. It’s likely not too much, actually. Likely a few million. But I see it as basically a credentialing event, with the monetary value coming downstream. The big prize IME is getting paid to prove a domestic, regulation-compliant separation workflow—and then becoming the default preferred vendor (or mandatory partner) for future DoD lots.
Cheers, makes sense. Once someone is a preferred/proven vendor for gov then there's a real advantage there, with gov processes typically being risk averse.
Beyond separation, where do we think the government is going to be sourcing this “government-furnished mixture? Seems like the most likely candidates to supply this strategic stockpile are Energy Fuels & MP. Would Lynas be in the mix for the fulfillment of the Australian-U.S. minerals agreement? (EF is there too now)
I love you Steve and have been following since the beginning and have made considerable profit since you first started posting on reddit. However, I have to admit it’s a bit frustrating when you regularly highlight ReElement. Since they aren’t publicly traded, it feels like finding a gold mine but having no way to buy the shovel. Still, I appreciate the deep dives. keep the winners coming
Love you, buddy. I feel you - AREC being the only way to get exposure publicly. It’s tough.
I have to include them, though. They are part of the equation here and it might be helpful for those wondering about the other viable players that could be sensibly victorious for the contract.
AREC holds 20% stake in ReElement and currently doesnt have much else going on so it is priced, more or less, as a proxy for ReElement. Good news in ReElement translate in AREC stock increase, although there is a lot of baggage that comes with AREC themselves.
Hey Steve, thanks for the insight! I had a question. So from the looks of it, UCore has gotten funding from the DoD to build their facility in Louisiana and have “DPAS" Priority Status. Do you think that will be an important factor in all of this?
check out who is sending praise that direction

Fascinating! The DC winds are whispering, very excited to see if they blow any bread crumbs our way.

My broker(Fidelity) has an options stats page
Ok, thank you very much. I hope i will find something similiar.

Should've said likely "value of a *contract for* the high-purity products..." which is quite different
Sounds like it is time for more acquisitions!

Great write-up!
Excellent write up Steve!
Wow, so good! Thank you so so much!
Great write up Steve, thanks for your insight!
Thanks Steve! Fantastic article. I always knew licensing will matter, your insights spells the how and what to look for!
Exciting things to look forward to and appreciate the research as always, sir 🫡

But at least they aren’t the main emphasis!

You also never know who might go public one day. Just another point of consideration.
AREC? Parent company?
Thanks for the analysis Steve!
Peeling back a bid, I have a few questions:
1. What is the TAM for these materials?
2. How are these companies’s process / approach compared with those in China ?
3. Energy Fuels has had huge run up this month. I don’t have a position, is it at a level that is still good to enter ?
