Stumbled upon your substack by accident, Steve. Just subscribed. I gotta ask who are you? lol. I looked at the picks you mentioned in this post back in July. Pretty amazing. I’ll look forward to your future posts and analysis.

Great post Steve! I’m heavily invested in Talon, do you still think it’s a great play at these levels?

Would love to chat.

Thank you Steve! I’ve learned so much!

Question- I didn’t see IPX or ReElement in the screenshot you posted in September. What’s your position on them now?

Have you looked into the potential of refinement facilities within the U.S? I have the same thesis as you, but the U.S will need to also refine these minerals domestically, China corned the market with AFAIK. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. I read your post regarding the one guy laying this idea out but only seeing the appetizer, your thesis being the main course, I see refinement companies domestically and within EU as the dessert.

Great analysis Steve, Techmet are a part owner of Rainbow rare earth (11% stake), couldn't see any other route to investing in their interests that are public...I'm sure many others are better informed on here

I asked Grok, “since I can’t invest in TechMet because it’s private, what similar publicly traded companies can I buy?” It came back with Albemarle Corporation (ALB), SQM, Glencore, MP Materials and Freeport-McMoran. ALB looks interesting to me (along with Piedmont Lithium) partly because I’m local here in North Carolina. There have been rumors of rare earths and Lithium in the mountains along with mainstream news of airplanes mapping the state using Lidar for a while now. That could even partly explain the Fed’s slow response to Hurricane Hellene as well - drag your feet until the locals leave so the land is opened up for mining. I realize forecasts for Lithium prices are to remain low into next year, but the geo-strategic value of the metals may lead to investment ahead of that. Anyway, it’s on my radar. Thanks for your wonderful posts here and on reddit. I’m following with interest.

Appreciate the analysis, it passes the gut test paired with your more recents. Curious about this though:

Where to invest? Well, Techmet is private.

What’s the chance some private player ousts some of these “legacy” groups?
